The RDA Proficiency certificates form a key part the students ongoing development and offer a real sense of achievement in their riding experience.

There are so many physical and psychological benefits to our students in coming to their riding sessions each week so it is good to reward their achievement as their progress.

The RDA proficiency test programme has been developed to suit all students abilities and progress levels, from grade 1 to 4, the test gradually increase in difficulty within the individuals capability.

We find that by offering proficiency tests it really motivates them to progress.

Some of the younger students are learning the terminology for the different parts of the ponies body and the different parts of the riding equipment.

EDUCATION and RDA

RDA offers a range of programmes and qualifications that celebrate and reward individual achievement, the education programme provides a platform for learning in an environment that is fun and engaging.

Many of the activities offered in riding sessions develop skills in literacy and numeracy and are valued by schools and colleges as they complement and support the wider curriculum.
