New qualified RDA Coaches Gwyn and Mandy

Our warmest congratulations to Gwyn and Mandy, who have recently qualified as coaches.

Only qualified coaches can deliver RDA sessions and they require a high level of skill and specialist knowledge. Gwyn and Mandy embarked on their journey towards qualification 12 months ago and, on the way, have completed courses online and via Zoom on topics such as Disability Awareness, Safeguarding, and Health and Safety. They also travelled to Surrey and Wiltshire for practical courses such as Medical and Therapy and Horsecare.

Under close supervision from our existing highly experienced coaches, Mandy and Gwyn have been ‘Coaches in Training’, taking lessons in our arena for nearly a year, before their final assessment by an external assessor. They both passed with flying colours!

Becoming a RDA coach requires a huge level of commitment, so we thank Mandy and Gwyn for investing their time to complete the coaching pathway. We’re proud to welcome them as fully fledged members of our incredible coaching team.
